In the small village of Plastovo, just 10 kilometers north of Skradin, right in the hinterland of Krka National Park, the Sladic family has been making wine for generations. This cherished winemaking tradition has been handed down from generation to generation. The Sladic family heirlooms are four indigenous grape varieties – Debit, Marastina, Plavina, and Lasina. Grown 300 meters above sea level in a micro climate reminiscent of endless summers, grapes mature cooled by the sea breeze from the Adriatic, keeping their precious acidity. In recent years, the younger generation of the family has taken our proud heritage into the 21st century with a touch of modern winemaking techniques. The results – distinctive boutique wines that have won acclaim from wine lovers the world over.
