Alen Bibic is a real visionary. He built a successful private winery in secluded Dalmatian hinterland, used underrated local varieties to make high-quality labels and he was one of the first exporters of Croatian wine to the USA. Tastings in his cellar can be spectacular when the wines are paired with imaginative dishes prepared by Alen’s wife. In this tour a very popular and well-known program of tasting four selected wines with snacks (tapas) will be served at the central table in the courtyard of the winery in a centuryold vine shade and a very relaxed atmosphere. Wines are served to each guest in courses with a detailed description of each wine, modes of production and regions. For those guests who are interested in a tour of the wine cellar, a tour can be arranged including a description of the process ofwinemaking. In case of a bad weather courtyard as the place where food and wines are served is replaced with a tasting room within the winery.
